RTX 4090 / 4080
We are touting 8k 60FPS gaming. I think gaming has reached its peak at this point. for a whopping $1,599, you can get your hands on a 4090 graphics card this October on the 12th. Nvidia is the future, when the 3090 came out I said I was going to wait for a 4080 and I changed my mind seeing that the games started to show up with great benchmarks from the 2000 series. The 4080 comes in 2 packages for 899 to 1299. a 12 gig version and a 16 gig version. It’s interesting to me that the 2000 series GPUs seem to be less performing when at the time of release they were outstanding cards. What happened? Did the drivers start making them do less? 2000 series cards were touted as 4k cards but can barely handle it in today’s games. I when first got my 2080. Gaming in 4k was a breeze. Now its kind of hard to run a game on a 2000 series card. A breeze on the 3000 series card. All the way till to the 3060. I have a 2060 and a 2070. 4k has to run on low to medium settings on today’s games. Medium on a 2080. My 3080 ti can run fine in 4k 80fps -120 on Ultra. Will we see this same thing happen to the 3000 series cards as the 4000 series start hitting the wild? I sincerely hope not. I hope developers keep making games that run efficiently to our current hardware and not bring in this new narrative that Nvidia will bring to next gen. I believe Nvidia should stay with developing cards and not tout for gaming this round. the 3000 and 2000 series are great cards! in all, I probably get my hands on a 4000 series card anyway. Just because i love tech!
